Shaun the sheep fundraising art trail, Shaun in the Heart of Kent is about partnerships.
As well as raising awareness and vital fundraising for Heart of Kent Hospice. This project brings together local businesses, schools, community groups and creative sectors to highlight Maidstone’s best assets, inspire civic pride amongst residents, and boost the local economy.
As the official storage and distribution partner, the TPS team have been proud to assist with the Trail.
TPS drivers have been collecting and delivering the sculptures to and from the artists up and down the country, bringing them all back to our warehouse, and they will be delivering them to and from the auction in a few weeks.
Our TPS warehouse team – particularly Graham and Nas have been unloading, loading and storing the 109 sculptures, as well as assisting with positioning them all for photoshoots, press events, and showcasing them for the BIG sponsor reveal.
The office team have also been busy involved with promotion, team events and when required extra hands moving the sculptures about.
The Trail has been extended by 2 days and now ends on 1st September. The sculptures are sited at streets, parks and public areas across Maidstone. The trail has been tremendously successful, with visitors from as far as New Zealand and America and there have been over 10,300 app downloads.

Raffle entry details
– The raffle closes on Sunday 15 September at 11:59pm.
– The live draw will be held on Thursday 26 September at the Auction.
– Winners will be notified within 2 weeks after the draw.

Farewell Weekend Friday 13th – Sunday 15th September 2024 at Maidstone Market Hall, Lockmeadow, Maidstone ME16 8LW
As well as being the last chance to see all 109 impressive Shaun the Sheep sculpture designs in one place, this event is also the last opportunity to buy trail merchandise, take selfies, meet some of the artists and collect your missing app codes from any sculptures not already collected.
Sessions for the Farewell Weekend are expected to sell out quickly. Tickets are £4 adult (16+) and £2 child (4-15). Children (0-3) go free but still need to have a ticket. A family ticket can be bought for £10. Group tickets can be purchased for groups of 10+.
With limited numbers, the first hour of each day will be a dedicated quiet hour open to everyone that would prefer reduced sensory stimulation.

The event takes place over three days with the following sessions running throughout the day:
9:30am – 10:45am*
11:00am- 12:15pm
12:30pm – 1:45pm
2:00pm – 3:15pm
3:30pm – 4:45pm

Doors open at 6pm, auction begins at 7pm. Bidding starts at £1,000.

Heart of Kent Hospice is a charity, they depend on voluntary donations for 80% of the cost of delivering their services.
