The Project – Bulky and over-sized furniture handling, final mile delivery and white glove services.

Pineapple Contracts manufacture furniture for challenging environments, products are designed to be safe and robust. The wide range of furniture includes seating, tables, cabinetry and beds, all mindfully designed to transform challenging environments such as behavioural health facilities and hospitals, prisons and correctional settings where safety is paramount.

White Glove Delivery

At TPS Global Logistics our white glove service is used for items that require special attention and careful handling, tailor made delivery includes placing and positioning items as directed.

We work in partnership with Pineapple, for final mile delivery, ensuring the furniture is delivered to the destination, unpacked and placed in the room as required, we remove all the packaging for disposal. Like Pineapple, we are mindful of the environment we are working within and are sensitive to the clients and their individual needs.

We have fully trained staff that understand the importance of meeting tight deadlines, as well as appreciating some properties require sensitivity, particularly within mental health environments, prisons or busy reception areas that require minimal disruption to routine and personnel.

Our TPS Global Logistics team adhere to the delivery timeframes requested, this can mean in and out within an hour.

Security Clearance

Our driver delivery teams have security clearance and training, including DBS clearance; this reassures our clients that their goods are in safe hands when being delivered to secure institutions.

We operate with our own labour teams to handle all types of furniture, often both bulky and awkward. We have made deliveries of chairs weighing 70 kilos and other objects weighing far in excess of this, but the team are trained to deal with these situations and can work around the obstacles that may be in lway. We can deliver products through small corridors and instal on upper floors- either with or without the use of a lift.

Nothing fazes our team, they carry all the necessary goods handling equipment on board, such as stair climbers, for suitable means of delivery and installation of the products.

Our trained delivery staff will unpack and assemble products as required, and we remove all packaging; recycling where possible and disposing of rubbish safely and in a way that safeguards the environment.

We aim to be efficient and unobtrusive, operating with minimal disruption.
