Sea Freight Supervisor

Role Description:

This is a full-time on-site role for a Sea Freight Supervisor responsible for overseeing the day-to-day sea freight operations, managing import and export processes, coordinating with customers, and ensuring efficient freight delivery.

Role Requirements:

  • 2 Years Ocean Freight Experience
  • Experience in Import and Export Processes
  • Experience in Customs Clearance
  • Customer Service Skills

Relevant skills and qualifications that are crucial for this role include a strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, knowledge of international trade regulations, and a background in logistics or supply chain management.

Business Development Executive

Position Overview:

As a Business Development Executive in freight operations, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, cultivating strong relationships with existing and potential clients, and driving revenue growth through strategic sales initiatives. You will work closely with the operations and logistics teams to offer clients tailored solutions that meet their freight and shipping needs.

A Strong understanding and experience of freight operations, including international shipping, transportation modes, and customs regulations is required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify, prospect, and generate new business opportunities within the freight and logistics industry.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in target companies to expand client base.
  • Collaborate with the operations team to understand service capabilities and develop custom freight solutions for clients.
  • Prepare and present compelling sales pitches, proposals, and presentations to prospective clients.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to adjust sales strategies accordingly.
  • Achieve and exceed sales targets and revenue growth goals set by the company.
  • Provide accurate and timely reports on sales activity, pipeline status, and client feedback to management.
  • Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking meetings to promote the company and its services.

Key Requirements:

Strong understanding of freight operations, including international shipping, transportation modes, and customs regulations.

Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently, as well as collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a strategic mindset.

Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Willingness to travel as required to meet with clients and attend industry events.
