The Government has said that the UK will be leaving the EU on 31 October whatever the circumstances. But leaving the EU without a deal means there will be immediate changes to the way UK businesses trade with the EU that may impact your business.

The current position of the Government
Yesterday the Queen approved the request to suspend parliament, allowing the government to suspend Parliament no earlier than Monday 9 September and no later than Thursday 12 September, until Monday 14 October.
Mr Johnson has written to MPs to outline his plan, adding: “There will be a significant Brexit legislative programme to get through but that should be no excuse for a lack of ambition!”
“In the meantime, the government will take the responsible approach of continuing its preparations for leaving the EU, with or without a deal.”
Boris Johnson said a Queen’s Speech would take place after the suspension, on 14 October, to outline his “very exciting agenda”.
This means the time MPs have to pass laws to stop a no-deal Brexit on 31 October would be cut.
In response the remain activists have submitted a motion to the Court of Session in Edinburgh – the highest civil court in Scotland – asking for the move to be suspended. The case has been taken by a cross-party group of more than 70 MPs and peers, with the support of the Good Law Project led by QC Jolyon Maugham.
The result yesterday was legal action to prevent the Prime Minister suspending Parliament being fast-tracked through the courts, with an emergency hearing being scheduled for Friday 6 September.
