This summer Dartford has been transformed by 31 stunning large Bear sculptures inspired by the beloved classic ‘We’re Going on a Bear Hunt’

Designed by local and national artists, and sponsored by local businesses, these Bears form an exciting, free public art trail through the town’s streets, parks, and open spaces.

Alongside them are more than 50 Bear cubs, decorated by local schools and community groups, which will be displayed in indoor locations such as museums, libraries, and storefronts, making this an event for the whole community!

The Bear Hunt art trail is open from 17th July to 13th September, and then the Bears are auctioned – so you can purchase your favourite.

At TPS we’re supporting Ellenor’s fundraising by sponsoring a Bear – Pastoral Bear has been decorated by Dartford artist Stephen Oliver and is located near the bandstand in Central Park.

By taking part in the Dartford Bear Hunt art trail you will be supporting Ellenor hospice who provide vital support to patients and their families across North Kent and Bexley.

As part of our sponsorship we’ve added a reward to trail participants – to ‘collect’ the Bears and claim rewards you need to download the app  so when you find our Pastoral Bear you enter the 4 digit code and you will then have the opportunity to enter our TPS prize draw to win a hamper.

We have teamed up with some of our ecommerce and warehouse partners and clients to put together a Beauty and Well-Being hamper of treats. The hamper contains skin and hair care products, sunscreen and scented candles for the ultimate head to toe pamper experience.

For your chance to win this hamper, you need to go on the Bear Hunt and scan, then enter the code on our Pastoral Bear, you will then be directed to a web page – simply fill in the form and submit to be entered into our prize draw. Good luck!
