The Chinese NY holiday has been extended to minimise population movement during the Novel Coronavirus outbreak. Most cities will not be fully operational until 9th February 2020.

The virus is already disrupting freight transport, having a significant impact on air freight demand and capacity. With flights cancelled and blank sailings extended, supply chain disruption throughout February is expected as demand from China is likely to be subdued.
